1. Payment Policy

  • Pre-Payment Required: All appointments must be paid in full prior to arrival. No procedures will be performed without prior payment.

  • Accepted Payment Methods:

  • We accept full payment via Zelle, CashApp, or card prior to treatment.

  • A $20 deposit/down payment is required at the time of scheduling your appointment to confirm your session.

  • Appointments made within 48-Hours of appointment must be made in full.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 48 Hours' Notice: Full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • 24 Hours' Notice: 50% refund for cancellations made 24–47 hours before the appointment.

  • Less Than 24 Hours: No refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or for no-shows.

  • CALL FOR ANY CANCELATIONS. PLEASE ALSO LEAVE VOICEMAILS IF NEEDED. FOLLOWING UP BY TEXT FOR CANCELLATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.​​​

3.Travel Policy

  • Practitioner travels within Durham, NC city limits for a $10

  • Appointments outside of this area will incur a $25 travel fee within the surrounding counties. Appointments outside these areas will incur a $50 travel fee.​​​​

4. Privacy Policy

  • Location Confidentiality: To maintain client privacy and safety, please do not share the office location publicly or with non-clients.

  • Client Confidentiality: The practitioner will not disclose any personal or treatment details of any client under any circumstance, in accordance with ethical and professional standards.

5. Safety Disclaimer

  • Possible Side Effects: Hijamah may cause temporary side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, or fatigue.

  • Aftercare Advice:

  • It is highly recommended that clients arrange for a ride home, especially for first-time treatments.

  • Hydrate well before and after the session.

  • Be aware that exhaustion can occur immediately following treatment and may persist for several days.

6. Media & Consent

  • Videography/Photography: Clients must explicitly consent to any video or photo documentation of the treatment area(s). Images are used exclusively for portfolio purposes. Consent will be obtained before any photos are shared online or used publicly.

  • Consent to Treat: All clients are required to sign a Consent to Treat Form prior to any services. These records will be kept on file for a minimum of 2 years and up to 99+ years, per legal and archival best practices.

7. Children Policy

  • No Children Allowed: Children are not permitted in the treatment area unless:

  • The client provides a responsible babysitter/caregiver to supervise them outside the treatment room.

  • If the practitioner must supervise or arrange childcare, additional charges will apply per child.

8. Consultation Policy

  • Mandatory Consultation: All clients must undergo a consultation before any hijamah treatment.

  • No Physical Contact will be made until a thorough health history has been taken.

  • Consult Duration: Each consultation will last a maximum of 15 minutes.

  • Full Transparency is expected from the client for safety and optimal results.
